My New Website

I have now launched a new website.  The recent 30 hour shutdown with Blogger combined with the ten page per blog limit led me to decide that the time was right to do this.  I will continue to post blogs here and cross-post them to the blog on the website.  The website has all of the information that is found on this blog along with other things that I am working on which will be added later so visit the website and take a look around.

SarahPac Money Bomb

Governor Palin is now passing 3 million "likes" on her Facebook page.  To mark this milestone, many Palin blogs and websites are launching a money bomb for SarahPac.   With the purchase of a new home in Arizona  and a movie about her time as governor set for release in June, I would expect an announcement from Governor Palin about her plans is coming soon.  Until then, she will still need money to hire staff and prepare so give what you can to SarahPac.  Also, if you have not done so already, sign up with Organize 4 Palin.  We need to have our grassroots activities ready to go when the governor makes her announcement.

Nevada District 2 Special Election May Not Have Primary - Update

I recently wrote about the upcoming special election for the Nevada district 2 U.S. House seat.  It now appears that this election will not have a primary.  A judge has ruled against the decision of the Nevada Secretary of State to have an open primary to fill this seat.  So now the candidates for the September 13 special election will be chosen by the central committees of each party.  You can find a list of possible candidates here.

Update - Nevada Secretary of State Miller has appealed the court decision against an open primary and the Nevada Supreme Court has granted his motion and expedited the briefing in this case.

Judge Prosser Certified As Wisconsin Supreme Court Winner

Judge Prosser has been certified as the winner of the Wisconsin Supreme Court race with a 7004 vote margin of victory.  Prosser issued this statement following his victory.  The democrat Kloppenburg now has until May 31 to decide whether or not she wants to mount a court challenge.  This saga is not over yet, but the end is coming soon.

Aid Organize 4 Palin With Its New Website

Governor Palin has said many times that her campaign for President would be unconventional.  What does that mean you ask?  Well one big difference we notice is that while other potential candidates launch exploratory committees and travel around the country making speeches, raising money, and announcing new hires and they build campaign organizations Governor Palin's activities are largely secret.  Her known calendar of activities is empty between now and October and her facebook postings have decreased in frequency.  What she is anyone's guess, but I believe she is preparing to run for President.  Some hints to her future plans can be found in her interviews last night.  So how can we help her as we wait for her announcement?  Besides assisting SarahPac's fundraising efforts, I urge all Palin supporters to join Organize 4 Palin.  This is a group that will carry out grassroots activities on behalf of Sarah Palin's campaign.  The founder of this group recently wrote an update on what Organize 4 Palin is up to.  Organize 4 Palin is now seeking donations to launch a new and improved website so do what you can to help.

Vote Jane Corwin For New York 26 Special Election

The special election for New York congressional district 26 is May 24 so please get out and vote for Jane Corwin if you live in that district.  Also, do what you can to get others out to vote for her.  The democrats are running a fake tea party candidate to take votes away from Corwin making it easier for the democrat to win.  Go here if you need to find your voting location.  You can find out about voting machines here and the main New York election website is here.

Would a tea party candidate act like this?

This is the real Jack Davis

SarahPac Mail Solicitations Sent

The Washington Post reports that SarahPac has sent out 400,000 pieces of direct mail nationwide in an attempt to boost its fundraising.  You can read the text of it here.  While this money cannot be transferred directly to a presidential campaign it will allow her to prepare and hire staff.  If you have not done so already, please go and register your email address with SarahPac.  We need to assure the Governor that she will be able to raise the kind of money she will need for her campaign.

Wisconsin Supreme Court Update

The Wisconsin Supreme Court recount saga continues.  The democrat Kloppenburg succeeded in having the votes of nuns thrown out last week.  Despite the fact that this race is clearly over and she has lost, Kloppenburg is still raising money.  The democrats may try to have the Waukesha county votes thrown out in court since it was those votes that gave Judge Prosser his victory.  The democrats will stop at nothing to win or steal this race so that they can turn back Governor Walker's reforms of public employee unions.  Please continue to support Judge Prosser's recount  victory efforts.   You can monitor the recount here.

$5 To Celebrate Governor Palin Passing 500K On Twitter

Governor Palin recently passed 500 thousand followers on her twitter page.  In the past there have been money bombs to mark milestones like this so consider giving $5 (or $50 if you can) to SarahPac.  Although many are waiting until the Palin campaign for President begins to give money, Governor Palin will need contributions before that.  While SarahPac funds cannot be used directly for her candidacy for President the money can be used to pay staff and advisors in preparation for 2012 as well as to support other candidates for office.  Many on the left and in the GOP Establishment are trying to discourage Sarah Palin's supporters and giving to SarahPac is one way to show her and them that we have not faltered.

Don't Raise the Debt Ceiling!

New York District 26 Special Election Voter Deadlines

Jane Corwin is the republican candidate for the New York congressional district 26 special election.  She has been endorsed by the Conservative Party and the New York TEA New York.   There may be a false tea party candidate in this race to draw votes away from Corwin allowing the democrat to win.  Do not take this race for granted as a recent poll shows Corwin up by only 5 points.  If you need to register to vote in this special election your registration form must be received in the mail by the Board of Elections by May 4.  The last day to register to vote in person is May 13.

Early Voting For West Virginia Governor Special Election Primary Begins

Early voting for the West Virginia Governor special election primary begins April 29 and runs until May 11.  If you need to vote absentee the last day to apply is May 9.  The primary election is May 14 so please vote.  We need to get conservatives elected at all levels of government.  See the links below for candidate listings.

Candidates listed here and here

Nevada District 2 Special Election

The special election to fill the Nevada district 2 seat will be on September 13.   Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller has decided to open this election to anyone rather than have the candidates chosen by party committees.  Here is his statement and his written interpretation of the law regarding this special election.  It is feared that this move by Secretary Miller will allow a democrat to win this seat because the republican votes will be split among several candidates.  Conservative voters must do the best they can to unite behind a single candidate so that this does not happen.  Web sites with more information on this election are below and I have also added it along with voter deadlines to my 2011 elections page.
