Sarah Palin: THE ONLY HOPE

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
Unspeakable evil slammed America in the beautiful little town of Newtown, Connecticut, just days ago. No words can express the collective shock and sorrow shared by Americans who know the murder of innocent children is the most horrendous crime imaginable. The Connecticut state motto, “Qui transtulit sustinet,” promises that only God can sustain us. Though still insufficient and unfulfilling for the grieving families of these beautiful babies in the Lord's arms now, perhaps those words are all the inconsolable loved ones can hold on to at this time. May God show His sustaining love to them right now. Please Lord.

It may seem, especially after Friday, the world is spinning fast and furious and out of control. Many political, economic, and societal problems attempt to weigh down our spirit so heavily that some despondently give up after being deceptively led to believe there is no real hope for anything getting better. And despite 24-hour news cycles with constant information flooding our eyes and ears with much white noise, TV's talking heads really have nothing meaningful to offer.

So the world spins furiously, but there is a reason its literal and figurative centrifugal force tightly holds us here together for such a time as this. Until God loosens the tie that binds us to this temporal earth, we are in it together, and we are expected to do our part to make it better. So, now is the time to speak truth, however politically incorrect some may deem it, and focus on what really matters so our nation's spirit can be lifted as we unite in the cause for a better world built on real hope. First, all truly is hopeless if your faith and hope are put in any politician or media elite. That is because the average person is more truthful and responsible than the average politician or media elite.

Those who let themselves be terribly disappointed in political leaders as they ignore real problems, aided along with a complicit media bombarding us with irrelevant distractions in order to avoid facing the reality of a fallen culture, should know those distractions are to hide from a finger pointing to the main contributors to much of our problem. To stop distracting would result in acknowledging the political and media machine's starring roles in our failing society. So, as they too often tear down those who try to do good, while elevating and celebrating corrupt selfishness, they dumbly assume we don't know it is they who significantly contribute to our upside down world today. We've learned our lesson. Don't put your hope in Hollywood or Washington. Instead, build resolve and seek truth more aggressively than ever at such a time as this.

I only know one source of truth and real hope. I call out to this hope with only childlike faith because I am so overwhelmed by the miraculous answers to my prayers that the comforting, secure hope I cling to is too inexplicable for a simpleminded person like me. Plus, because I am not a perfect Christian – and have never met one – I dare not judge others’ “Christian quotient,” and inarticulately explaining my faith is too often interpreted wrongly, hence, my thankfulness in being allowed via the Good Book to have a childlike faith that's good enough for God. Further, I do not wish to force my beliefs down anyone's throat – and simple faith does not do that. Though I'll share my faith unapologetically, I beg fellow faith-filled fallible human beings to quit pretending anyone's effective in forcing others to see the light; please also quit pretending you are holier than thou. You are not. I am not. We're merely fortunate enough to have been knocked to our knees at some point in life and grabbed hold of the opportunity to accept undeserved grace and forgiveness that allows a rebirth and its accompanying peace that passeth all understanding. I cling to it not because I am bitter, but because there is nothing better.

May this Christmas season give you a glimpse of the faith to which millions cling to, and are willing to live and die to self for. As you watch this video, even if you've never prayed before, you can ask God for revelation to what occurred 2000 years ago, what it means for today, and why we celebrate the babe born in that Bethlehem manger over 2000 years ago. And I offer this not because I have all the answers, but because many ask me from where does my hope come? How do I hang on? What do I cling to? Here is a glimpse of the foundation of my faith. May you be shown through this short clip and song that the unanswered questions, the horrible suffering, and the sacrifice of One birthed opportunity for new life and real HOPE for all of us today.

Friends, please watch this, and please don't lose hope. We mustn't lose hope! Look up! And put your time and effort in working so hard for your family and loved ones around you. Don't wait for a fallen world's politicians and pundits to do it for you. You can have within yourself the ability and opportunity to help make America strong again, and her people joyful again.

Sarah Palin: C'mon Now, GOP, Don't Go Wobbly on Us

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Please read and pass along this article. We send good conservatives to D.C. to fulfill the promises they made to the electorate, and yet when they stay true to their word the permanent political class in their own party punishes them. This won't be forgotten come 2014. Right now the GOP establishment is more concerned about the opinion of the media and the Georgetown cocktail circuit than they are “we the people” who hired them. For all this new talk of how the GOP needs a “populist movement,” it would do them good to remember they already have one; it’s called the Tea Party movement, and it won for them the majority they now enjoy in the House.

The Left's Scrooge McDuck Mythology of the Wealthy

This is an excellent article about the liberal view of money.
Scrooge McDuck is wealthy. Thanks to Disney's distribution, Donald's rich uncle is known the world over. Everybody knows about McDuck's multi-story vault with a diving board, and how he literally "dives in," swimming through his fortune of gold bars, silver coins, and hundred dollar bills.

The money is just sitting there. Never mind Scrooge McDuck earned the money; he isn't using it, so McDuck doesn't need it. In fact, McDuck would still be rich if he gave over half of it away to those who really need it -- like kids in Mexico, the Philippines, and Afghanistan. Obviously, the rich foreigners, like McDuck, are selfish jerks for not sharing their 'luck.'

Reasonable adults can forgive the naiveté of poorly educated kids who don't understand finance. Educated people know Bill Gates, Steven Spielberg, Warren Buffett, George Soros, and Mike Bloomberg don't go swimming through their wealth in a high-rise vault like McDuck. Their money is invested; their wealth is primarily on paper. If the celebrity super-rich ever tried to liquidate their assets, much of the value would evaporate before they could click "sell". Even selling a small percentage of their holdings could cause key stocks to collapse, impact the wider market, and result in real -- not paper -- layoffs.

Early Voting For Louisiana District 3 Election

There will be an election for congressional district 3 on December 8.  Jeff Landry is running for re-election and has been endorsed by Mark Levin and others.  Early voting for this election will be from Nov. 24-Dec. 1, 2012 at these locations.  You can support the Jeff Landry campaign here.

The Amnesty Sell-Out

From an American Thinker article:
If you want to know what open borders Republicans will sound like when they betray this nation's sovereignty, take it from the horse's mouth: Carlos Gutierrez, head of Mitt Romney's Hispanic outreach, told CNN's Candy Crowley, "[T]he far right of this party has taken the party to a place that it doesn't belong."
What Gutierrez is saying is very instructive: He is demonstrating that Republicans will have to belittle the silent majority in order to cave on immigration. You simply can't normalize illegal activity unless you defame the people who maintain the norm. In this case, people who believe that our border matters will have to be ridiculed and marginalized.
At least the battle lines are being drawn. Gutierrez is speaking for a group of Republican elites who want to redefine decent people as "far right." This is clearly an insult directed towards those people who believe that our nation's border should be respected, who are sick of stagnating wages and racial preferences, and who believe that we shouldn't reward illegal activity.

We must ignore this and keep pressure on our representatives and senators so they will not cave in to this agenda from the Bush clan and their RINO cohorts.

A Few Priorities

With the election over and President Obama re-elected feelings of fear and disappointment are running high.  There have been many articles in the conservative media analyzing the reasons for the debacle on November 6 and I see no reason to continue down that path.  The Left and the GOP Establishment are now planning their next moves in order to achieve their goals and we in the conservative movement must do the same.  For this reason I have listed some items below that we need to focus on.  Keep your heads up and let's get to work.

1.  Stopping Obamacare - Obamacare remains the law, but the states can refuse to implement it. See the links below for more information on this and encourage your governor to stand with us.

Obamacare Is Still Vulnerable

Why governors should not implement state insurance exchanges under Obamacare

2. The Lame Duck session of Congress - There are many issues coming up during the lame duck session. Everyone is hearing about the "fiscal cliff" and we must make sure that the Republicans do not cave in and give President Obama what he wants. We also need to contact our Senators so they stay strong in opposition to treaties favored by the White House.  See the links below for more information.

The Threats of a Lame Duck Congress

Senate Conservatives Gather Enough Votes to Block Lame Duck Treaties

Lame Duck Congress

 3. Jeff Landry for Congress - Jeff Landry is running for re-election in Louisiana's third congressional district.  Landry has been endorsed by a number of conservative and tea party organizations and needs our help.

The election is on December 8, 2012.

Early voting is from November 24 - December 1, 2012

Jeff Landry campaign website

4. 2013 elections - There are elections in a number of states in 2013.  The most critical of these in my opinion will be the state and local elections in Virginia. We must do everything possible to get conservatives into as many offices as possible at all levels of the government in Virginia.  Now is the time to begin supporting conservative candidates and getting people registered to vote, including teens as they become eligible.

Sarah Palin: Who is running our country?

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
Who is running our country? We've got a CIA Director sharing security info with his mistress using an unsecure gmail account. We've got the delusional Susan Rice blaming the death of an ambassador on a Youtube video. We've got Iran firing on one of our drones a week before the election. We've got the White House either ignorant of or covering up all of this. Who is minding the store? Everywhere we
look we see the rank incompetence or corruption of the people who are supposedly running our country and our major institutions. Let's hope that responsible reporters at Obama's press conference today ask the right questions Americans deserve answers to.

Here's my question for the president: As our nation's chief executive you claim to be unaware of the most important and tragic situations we're facing; so, as a former chief executive, I'd like to know how long it takes for your staff to tell you things like: "Sir, your CIA Director is under investigation"?

Sarah Palin: Don’t Lose Heart

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
America, don’t lose heart. This election is not an “Obama mandate,” nor is it a rejection of conservatism. Unanswered ads like this one running in blue collar swing states defined Romney early on, and the Obama media also piled on with the narrative that Romney would harm the middle class. (As I personally have witnessed, once a bell is rung by a biased media, it’s impossible to un-ring it.) Ironically, it’s Obama’s socialist policies that will destroy America’s working class as he outsources opportunities.

Hang in there, America. Fight for what is right. Don’t look to government or any politician to solve your problems. Government can’t make you happy, healthy, wealthy or wise. Obama is a master at reading the right “soaring” words fed into his teleprompter, but actions speak louder than words. So, hold tight to 2 Corinthians 4:8 because we’re in for a wild ride.

We must survive. United. One nation under God.

"We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed." – 2 Corinthians 4:8-9.

Sarah Palin: This Tuesday our country’s future is in our hands.

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
This Tuesday our country’s future is in our hands.

What’s past is prologue. We know what we will get from a second Obama term because we’ve all endured his first term. We know how well he kept his 2008 campaign promises. Do we really believe he’ll keep his 2012 promises?

Do we believe the word of a man who promised he wouldn’t raise taxes on the middle class, but then slammed the middle class wi

th a massive tax hike in the form of Obamacare (and don’t forget that his own lawyers argued before the Supreme Court that the individual mandate is a tax)?

Do we really believe he won’t raise taxes even more on every American in order to pay for his wasteful spending and his crony capitalism?

Do we believe that the same president who increased the debt in his first term by more than all the first 41 presidents combined will suddenly decide to cut the deficit in his second term?

Do we believe that the president whose reckless spending led us to the first credit rating downgrade in our nation’s history will suddenly become a responsible fiscal manager if we reelect him?

Do we really believe that a president who promised us that job creation was his number one priority despite month after month of dismal job numbers now has a credible “plan” for the job growth that eluded him for the past four years?

Do we believe that the same president who shut down the Keystone Pipeline and blocks domestic oil and natural gas development at every turn is somehow going to reduce our dangerous dependence on foreign oil and lead us to energy independence?

Do we really believe that our country’s national security is safe in the hands of a president whose administration denied security and assistance to our consulate under attack on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on America, and then blamed that consulate attack and the death of our ambassador on a “spontaneous” protest over an obscure YouTube video despite all the real time evidence to the contrary?

Do we believe that a president who was caught on a hot mic telling the Russian president that he would have “more flexibility” after his reelection is being honest about his plans for a second term?

We know what we will get from a second Obama term. We will get the same failed policies. We will get Obamacare locked into law without any chance of undoing this dangerous legislation and any chance to seek real patient-centered health care reform. We will get a debt crisis. We will get more inflation and higher gas prices. We will get tax increases. We will get fewer jobs. We will get more small businesses collapsing under the weight of higher taxes and unfair regulation. We will get more corruption and crony capitalism favoring the Obama administration’s friends. We will get less domestic energy development and increased dependence on terrorist sponsoring foreign regimes for our energy needs. We will get a “blame America first” foreign policy that bows to our enemies and snubs our friends like Israel and leaves America and the world less safe. We will get less opportunity and security for ourselves and for our children.

In 2008, Barack Obama promised to fundamentally transform America. And for all his failures and broken promises, that’s the one thing he has delivered on. He’s transformed us from a nation of hope to one of anxiety. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Tuesday is our chance to turn things around.

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have offered a credible alternative to Barack Obama’s failed policies. Governor Romney understands how the free market works. His pro-growth economic policies will benefit all Americans. He has promised to move us toward energy independence, deficit reduction, and responsible entitlement reform that honors our commitment to our seniors and keeps faith with future generations. Governor Romney deserves a chance to lead. President Obama had his chance. He’s failed, and we can’t afford to go backwards.

We must also remember the many good Republican candidates who are running for the House and Senate this year. They deserve our support as well. If you are like me, you have watched these campaigns, learned about the candidates, and know where they stand despite the skewed lens of a partisan media bent on keeping liberal leadership in power. We saw the destruction a Democrat controlled White House, House, and Senate brought us after the 2008 election. Our country can’t afford that again. Your vote is the only safeguard against that happening.

On Tuesday, please vote for Governor Mitt Romney and the commonsense conservatives running for office in your states.

Voting is our duty and our right. We must never forget the immense sacrifices generations of Americans, including our brave men and women in uniform today, have made to give us this right. And we must never forget the duty we owe to generations of Americans yet to be born to exercise our right to vote prudently. The White House and control of the Senate is in the balance in this election, and every vote will count.

I firmly believe it is our responsibility to restore this country and secure the blessings of liberty and prosperity for our children, just as it was secured for us. This is our sacred duty to the past and to the future. We will succeed in this so help us God.

God bless you and God bless America.

With an Alaskan heart,

Sarah Palin

Ted Yoho: This Race Has Turned Negative

From Ted Yoho's Facebook page:
Friends,
I am sorry to tell you that this race has turned negative in the remaining days. I had hoped that my opponent would stay above the fray because as the son of a diplomat, I had higher expectations.

Last night, a robo call from my opponent went out to voters in our district telling voters that I favored higher taxes and directed them to a website that he falsely created under my name using my logo and contact information.

Further, he has refused to file any of the legally required Federal Election Commission reports to date. How can we expect a man to write laws in Congress when he can’t even follow the laws already on the books?

Not only have his actions and slanderous behavior been offensive to me and my supporters, they are embarrassing to him.

I recall a commercial that we put out a few months ago that talked about this type of nasty, typical politician behavior.

So if you are sick and tired of the mud-slinging, let JR know that his last-ditch, desperate attempts to sway voters are unacceptable, and share this with your friends who may have been contacted. He can be reached at (904)531-4737 or Facebooked @ jrforcongress.
And again, thanks so much for your support!

Sarah Palin: Deb Fischer Needs Our Help

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Washington fears commonsense leaders like Deb Fischer because she's not going to Washington to consolidate her own power; she is going there to help return power to the people the way the Founders intended. Sarah Palin: Many questions about Benghazi attack that Americans deserve answers to

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
There are many questions about the Benghazi attack that Americans deserve answers to. It’s been too long an “investigation” and too tragic for the families of lost loved ones for the White House and its friends in the media to ignore these questions:

- When and why did the YouTube trailer of the anti-Muhammad movie surface as any kind of credible reason for the attack?

- Where is the proof tha
t that video was linked to Benghazi? It’s a weak excuse to claim some supposed rumored link between Benghazi and the attacks on our embassy in Cairo. Benghazi was very different. “Spontaneous” protestors don’t come armed with rocket-propelled grenades.

- What was the President’s response to the previous Benghazi embassy attacks in April and June? Why did officials ignore the requests for beefed up security to protect Americans after these attacks?

- Why did the Obama Administration assume a YouTube video was the reason for the Benghazi attack but not all the evidence to the contrary from the postings and emails that circulated that night in real time as the attack took place and Americans were being killed? And why weren’t those emails disclosed until this week?

- Why did the Obama administration spend our tax dollars to make and air television ads that ran in the Middle East apologizing for the YouTube video when they had so much credible evidence that it was nothing but a red herring?

- How much did President Obama know about this? In an interview he gave to CBS News on September 12, President Obama alluded to the fact that the Benghazi attack was not—as his U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice and other officials were characterizing it—a “spontaneous” protest triggered by the Cairo embassy attack and the video. He told CBS News in that interview, “my suspicion is that there are folks involved in [the Benghazi attack] who were looking to target Americans from the start.” If he suspected this then why did he allow his administration to continue blaming the attack on the YouTube video? And why didn’t CBS News call him out on this when his comments in their interview with him, which they didn’t air until a month later, belie the administration’s YouTube narrative?

Someone in the media must demand answers. Until the media does its job to give us the Who What Where When and Why of this cover-up, there will be even less trust for this “cornerstone of our democracy” – if less trust and respect for the media is even possible today. We sincerely want to be able to trust the media. We need to be able to trust them. Their job is so important, and we appreciate all the good journalists in America. Our troops fight to protect all our freedoms including the freedom of the press.

The Truth about Tax "Fairness"

Sarah Palin: For The Record

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
For the record, there was nothing remotely racist in my use of the phrase “shuck and jive” – a phrase which many people have used, including Chris Matthews, Andrew Cuomo, and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney to name a few off the top of my head. In fact, Andrew Cuomo also used the phrase in reference to Barack Obama, and the fact that Mr. Cuomo and I used the phrase in relation to President Obama signifies nothing out of the ordinary. I would have used the exact same expression if I had been writing about President Carter, whose foreign policy rivaled Obama’s in its ineptitude, or about the Nixon administration, which was also famously rocked by a cover-up.

I’ve been known to use the phrase most often when chastising my daughter Piper to stop procrastinating and do her homework. As she is part Yup’ik Eskimo, I’m not sure if this term would be deemed offensive when it’s directed at her or if it would be considered benign as in the case of Chris Matthews’ use of it in reference to Rachel Maddow. Just to be careful, from now on I’ll avoid using it with Piper, and I would appreciate it if the media refrained from using words and phrases like igloo, Eskimo Pie, and “when hell freezes over,” as they might be considered offensive by my extended Alaska Native family.

The outrageously outraged reaction to this expression from perennial hypocrites like Chris Matthews has only made me laugh. Mr. Matthews, let me share with you my favorite Irish toast: “May we always be happy, and may our enemies always know it.”

Sarah Palin: Obama's Shuck and Jive Ends With Benghazi Lies

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

As I mentioned on “On the Record” last night, there is breaking news that just two hours after the September 11th attacks on our consulate in Benghazi, the White House and State Department knew that an Islamic terrorist group with ties to al Qaeda claimed credit for the attack. We now know that the State Department sent an email to the White House, the Pentagon, the FBI and others in the intelligence community about this Islamist group claiming responsibility. And yet for days afterwards the White House and State Department led everyone to believe that the attack was the result of a spontaneous protest over an obscure YouTube video that had been uploaded months prior. Anywhere from 300 to 400 people from the administration and our intelligence community would have seen that email. Why the lies? Why the cover up? Why the dissembling about the cause of the murder of our ambassador on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil? We deserve answers to this. President Obama's shuck and jive shtick with these Benghazi lies must end.

Sarah Palin: Thank you to everyone who has supported my dad and my brother on their book tour!

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Several books and articles have been written, and some movies made, under the guise of sharing with the public who the Palins are, and who I am in particular. Very often, the goal is simply to misrepresent us and present something so far-fetched as to not bear any resemblance to truth at all. Many in the media have been more than happy to make room for these stories and allow those behind them to have their say, though these “biographers” very often neither know me nor are willing to put names to their so-called sources.

This is why I so appreciate those members of the media who are giving my dad and brother—who have written a factual book—a platform to tell the real story. Unlike many of the other books people have turned to for information, Our Sarah: Made in Alaska is written by two people who actually know me, were there through much of the 2008 campaign, and have cut through the bunk right to the truth—the truth of who the Heaths and Palins really are and what an Alaska upbringing provides. I am thankful for those who actually are fair and balanced in their reporting, giving the two Chucks the same opportunity to tell their story.

Two particularly good interviews are one Chuck, Jr. did with the Great One, Mark Levin, and an interview Greta Van Susteren conducted with both Chucks. If you only saw what Greta was able to air on On the Record last night, be sure to watch the uncut version.

A heartfelt “thank you” to those who have taken part in the book tour. In a whirlwind of a schedule, Dad and Chuck, Jr. have traveled to various states, and many of you have been there to greet them, help with laundry (yes, that's right!), or just shake their hands. I know they appreciate it, and I just wanted to chime in and say that I appreciate it also. The tour is winding down, but there are a few more stops. Go here to see the remaining schedule, and stop in to say "hello" if you can. You never know: you might just end up in one of my brother's journal entries, which he's recording on their Facebook page.

Thank you!

Sarah Palin Comments On 2007 Obama Speech Video

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
Many of you have seen the 2007 speech in which then-Senator Obama suggested that because of racism the federal government didn’t waive the Stafford Act to assist New Orleans after Katrina. What you may not know is that 10 days before Senator Obama gave this speech, the federal government did in fact waive the Stafford Act for New Orleans. And to add insult to injury, Barack Obama was one of 14 senators who actually voted against the bill that included the provision to give supplemental emergency assistance to New Orleans. In other words, he was being dishonest and divisive, which is behavior we’ve sadly seen far too often from him in the last four years.

SarahPac: Hollywood's Liberal Indoctrination of America

If you intend to donate soon please do so before the end of the quarter on September 30.  Below is an email from SarahPac:

Dear SarahPAC Supporter,

The Hollywood elite have already proven with the production of HBO's Game Change their willingness to distort reality to promote a biased, left-wing agenda.

Despite multiple attempts by the Governor's top aides to share on-the-record insight from the 2008 campaign with the writers of Game Change, HBO chose to advance its own fictional, sensationalized fabrication instead.

And last night, Hollywood spent an evening in smug self-congratulation for displaying courage and bravery in making the film—as if the slanderous portrayal was anything more than propaganda for Barack Obama and the Democrat Party.

Hollywood is clearly out of touch with everyday Americans, and they will stop at nothing to re-elect Barack Obama and undermine our conservative values.

We recently learned of Hollywood's plans to further its liberal indoctrination of America by creating an Obamacare reality show and writing pro-Obamacare messages into prominent television shows. Some of this will even take place at taxpayer expense—the state of California has hired a prominent public relations firm to ensure that residents buy into the flawed Obamacare legislation. With priorities like that, it's no wonder California is spending itself into bankruptcy.

Do not let Hollywood liberals bankrupt America.

Help us fight back with a generous contribution to our conservative cause of $25, $50, $100, $250 or more today!

You can also help by simply speaking out against those who attack our commonsense conservative values. Let them know that we will not stand idly by while they try to brainwash the American people during one of the most important elections of our lifetime.

Sincerely,

Tim Crawford
Treasurer, SarahPAC

Sarah Palin On QE3

From Sarah Palin's Facebook post:

President Obama is clearly revealing his rapid loss of any grip on the economic and security issues that are of utmost importance to our country. His economic and foreign policy blunders are manifesting chaos. On the same day when we see more chaos erupting in the Middle East and President Obama declaring that Egypt is no longer considered our ally, the Federal Reserve announced that it will spend $40 billion a month to purchase mortgage-backed securities with no end date set. QE3 is upon us.
In a speech nearly two years ago, I asked: “If [QE2] doesn’t work, what do we do then? Print even more money? What’s the end game here? Where will all this money printing on an unprecedented scale take us? Do we have any guarantees that QE2 won’t be followed by QE3, 4, and 5, until eventually – inevitably – no one will want to buy our debt anymore? What happens if the Fed becomes not just the buyer of last resort, but the buyer of only resort?”

As predicted, QE3 is upon us. Is it any wonder that the dollar is down against major currencies? This temporary, artificial economic “stimulus” bought at the expense of high inflation is no substitute for a stable currency and genuine long-term economic recovery. This is what happens when big government centralized planners try to “plan” our economy. President Obama is no doubt happy, though, that this latest sugar fix comes 53 days before the election.

Sarah Palin: Remebering September 11

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
We remember that eleven years ago today nearly three thousand of our fellow Americans were killed by evil men. Every year on the anniversary of 9-11, we read out the names of those who died and comfort their families, and at military recruiting centers throughout the country, young men and women choose this day to enlist to serve their fellow Americans and ensure that something like this never happens again. While some try to move on with their lives and let the tragedy of that day recede in their memories, our men and women in uniform remain ever vigilant for us.

Today, let’s take time to remember the victims of September 11. Let’s say a prayer for their families. Let’s comfort their children left behind. And let’s also remember our men and women in uniform who enlist to protect us from tragedies like this. Let’s remember that American troops are still fighting in Afghanistan now, and they’re dying this year at an average of one a day. Let’s never forget the heavy price they pay to keep us free.

Sarah Palin: Remember Our U.S. Troops

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
Last night wrapped up a convention that was very encouraging; so, thank you to all who worked hard to provide needed inspiration while focusing on the U.S. economy. And for all the great speeches we heard at the convention this week and tho
se we’ll hear next week, I sincerely hope we as Americans, despite our political disagreements, will respectfully remember our brave men and women in uniform – for they are still in harm’s way so that we can sleep in peace. Our troops in Afghanistan have suffered terrible casualties this year. We don’t hear much about this lately. You never hear our troops complain though, even when it seems like some of us safely back home enjoying the freedoms they protect too easily forget their sacrifices. But the moms wearing blue and gold stars remember. The wives and husbands raising kids alone while their spouse is in a war zone remember. The kids whose mom and dad can’t be there for birthdays and school plays and skinned knees and graduations remember. Every American who loves freedom should remember.

To our U.S. troops over there, please know that we remember your sacrifice. We support and honor you, and we pray for your safe and speedy return home where you are loved and belong.

Sarah Palin: Paul Gosar for AZ-4

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
Dr. Paul Gosar is not a career politician. He's a dentist, a conservative, a small business owner, and someone I was proud to endorse in 2010. His accomplishments as a freshman congressman are remarkable and a shining e
xample of what hardworking public service is all about.

You won't find Paul playing endless rounds of golf or hobnobbing at D.C. cocktail parties. When Congress isn't in session, you'll find him with the people he represents. In the past 18 months, he's held over 24 town halls and put over 60,000 miles on his old car traveling his district. And when he is not listening to the people he works for, he is with his wife Maude and his three kids, probably pulling weeds in his yard as he thinks of ways to shrink government and bring about the reform we need in Washington to secure a prosperous and fiscally responsible America for our children.

As a freshman congressman, he didn't just bide his time or go along to get along. He got down to work. Arizona's largest newspaper reviewed Paul's legislative accomplishments and concluded that “Bottom line: when it comes to sponsored bills and amendments passed by the House of Representatives, Gosar has been among the most successful new members not only in Arizona's delegation, but also in the entire freshman class." He's fought hard to eliminate wasteful spending, sponsoring one bill after another to repeal wasteful programs and save the taxpayers' money. He co-sponsored and voted for “Cut, Cap, and Balance," and he took a tough vote to cut $2.1 trillion from the bloated federal budget, which is the largest nominal spending cut since World War II.

He's been a leader on looking for ways to cut spending, and he's also been a staunch fighter for the people of Arizona. Along with Congressman Darrell Issa, Paul has been laser-like in pursuing the truth about the “Operation Fast and Furious" scandal, and Paul is the sponsor of a resolution of no confidence in Attorney General Holder. He's also defended the interests of Arizonans in taking on the Obama administration's over-reaching EPA bureaucrats.

I think you can see why he has the support of so many Arizonans – from Governor Jan Brewer to Senator Jon Kyl. I was proud to endorse Paul Gosar two years ago, and I believe he more than deserves to return to Congress to continue his good work for Arizona's new 4th Congressional District. I hope you'll join me in supporting Paul and donating and volunteering for him. This is one conservative public servant you can be certain will be working hard for you and getting positive results.

Sarah Palin: Ted Yoho for FL-3

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:
Dr. Ted Yoho isn’t afraid of hard work. To put himself through college and veterinary school he worked nights in a vegetable packing house and summers in construction. After graduating, he started and grew his own successful business. Yes, President Obama, Ted built that himself.

Tired of watching career politicians spend us into debt and tax us to death, Ted decided to run fo

r Congress in Florida’s new 3rd Congressional District. No stranger to hard work, Ted took his conservative businessman’s perspective from town to town, county to county, and voter to voter asking them all the same thing: “Had enough?” The answer was clear. Ted’s victory in last week's primary sent the same message we are seeing all across the country: Yes, we have had enough. We’ve had enough of our elected officials going to Washington and forgetting about us. We’ve had enough of them mortgaging our children’s future to foreign debtors. We’ve had enough of Congress wasting our money on useless programs that enrich themselves or reward their cronies. We’ve had enough of high taxes. We’ve had enough of Obamacare’s threat of faceless government bureaucrats making life and death health care decisions for us. We’ve have enough of no job growth and government red tape that stifles our entrepreneurial spirit and any hope of long term prosperity.

Underdog candidates like Ted aren’t running because it’s easy, and they don’t plan on going to Washington to just “go along to get along.” No, these underdogs are running to fight for sudden and relentless reform and they know the hard work it will require to make it happen. If you’ve had enough and are ready for some real reform that puts government back on our side, please join me in supporting Dr. Ted Yoho for Congress in FL-3. Let’s send this commonsense businessman to D.C. to fight for us. He won’t forget who sent him there.

Sarah Palin Endorsed Dan Bongino

Sarah Palin has endorsed Dan Bongino:
Though political pundits often dismiss conservative candidates running in deep blue states, I don't believe in ignoring good candidates simply because they're fighting uphill battles against the odds. In fact, I find such candidates incredibly brave and especially worthy of encouragement. In many cases, they are often the most articulate and courageous new conservative voices out there.

In 2012, we must cede no ground in our effort to win back control of the Senate and secure the House. We must fight every race to make sure we equip our next President with a wise Congress ready to work for all Americans.  We also owe it to voters in every state - even the deep blue ones - to support good candidates for office so that they have a genuine choice in November. That is why I'm honored to announce my support for Dan Bongino in his Senate race in the "deep blue state" of Maryland.

Dan is not a politician, but he has spent his career protecting them. He is a decorated United States Secret Service agent who served under three Presidents. Dan has seen what politicians have done to our country, and he's decided, "If I'm not part of the solution, I'm part of the problem." He based his candidacy for U.S. Senate in Maryland on a strong commonsense conservative platform, won his primary, and is now fighting an uphill battle against a 45-year career politician who in fact inherited his first political office from his uncle at the tender age of 23 way back in 1967 and has been in elected office ever since.

This is more than just a race of Republican vs. Democrat or conservative vs. liberal. It's about taking our country back from the career politicians in both parties who have spent us into debt, nearly taxed us to death, enriched themselves, rewarded their cronies at our expense, and have no vision to help the private sector create the jobs we need to get this economy moving again. They are the reason why Congress' approval rating is at an all-time low. In supporting Dan Bongino, we are offering Maryland voters a clear choice either to continue with the failed policies and crony capitalism of the permanent political class, or to shake things up with Dan Bongino and cast a vote that helps put our country back on the path to prosperity.
