Establishment Republican Senator Lamar Alexander’s reelection prospects continue to slide as Michael Patrick Leahy, co-founder of BEAT LAMAR, announced today that two additional local grassroots groups, the Nashville Tea Party and the newly formed Coalition for a Constitutional Senate, will co-host the first BEAT LAMAR Forum, which will be held in Nashville on Saturday, August 31, from 1 pm to 3:30 pm at a location to be announced soon.

One announced candidate, Brenda Lenard, and two potential candidates, Kevin Kookogey and Tim Burchett, have been invited. According to Leahy, “Additional featured speakers may be added prior to August 31st, but our current plan is to invite only these three.”
