Sarah Palin: Please read Billy Graham’s impassioned plea to the new president of Iran

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Please read Billy Graham’s impassioned plea to the new president of Iran imploring the release of the imprisoned pastor Saeed Abedini. Bristol has been covering Saeed’s story for a long time on her blog. We are all so grateful to Rev. Graham for taking out this full-page ad in the New York Times to bring light to this terrible injustice.

President Obama, please act on this by using your position to appeal for Saeed’s release. We often ask ourselves, “What would Reagan do?” Well, in the 1980s, President Reagan worked behind the scenes to appeal to the Soviets for the release of Russian Christian dissidents who wanted to emigrate, and because of Reagan’s quiet work in the background, these Christians were finally allowed to leave the former Soviet Union. Reagan used the exceptional position of POTUS to appeal for justice, and it worked. Now we need our current president to appeal to Iran's new president for the release of this imprisoned Christian.

Kudos to Rev. Graham for taking action today. I have so much respect for him. As my dad wrote about in his book, Billy Graham was the man who led my mom to Christ years ago, which resulted in the rest of the family becoming Christians in the 70s.

Sarah Palin: Our president was delusional and contradictory

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Our president was delusional and contradictory when he declared in his speech before the U.N. General Assembly, "The world is more stable than it was five years ago” (exactly when he swooped into office to calm the rising tides). But then in the next breath he listed examples of how it's not more stable. All he needed to do was ask the Christians of the Middle East who are being targeted everywhere we look by Islamic extremists on their deadly march. This same president has declared that "Al Qaeda is on the run." Yes, they apparently ran to places like Egypt, Libya, Kenya, Syria, and perhaps here next for all we know. It's not like they haven't attacked our homeland before. Good Lord, "delusional" is a generous term. The world right now is a tinderbox, hardly stable.

Instead of calling out the President's deceptive comments, his reliable lapdogs in the media turn their attention and ire on Ted Cruz for daring to stand up for the American people. Maybe if Ted had worn pretty pink running shoes he'd have gotten more respect from the same leftwing media that gushed over the Texan state senator who filibustered in the Texas legislature for the right to late term abortions of babies (a position at odds with the sentiment of the majority of Texans and Americans).

See the link below for more on Obama's U.N. speech delusions and contradictions. It’s truly unbelievable.

The Christie Files

Months ago I added a page to my website with articles showing why Jeb Bush should not be the GOP nominee in 2016.  With the growing chorus in the GOP Establishment supporting Christie for President I have now also added The Christie Files.  We must not allow another northeastern liberal to be the republican nominee for President in 2016.  Complain all you want, but millions of voters stayed home rather than vote for Mitt Romney.  There will surely be far more staying home if Christie or Jeb Bush are the nominee in 2016.  This would be a disaster as it would mean that Hillary Clinton will be sworn in as President on January 20, 2017 to continue the socialist takeover of this country as started by Barack Obama.  Please start now in talking to others so that we can avoid another loss in 2016.

Sarah Palin: Sen. Ted Cruz’s efforts to defund Obamacare are worthwhile and doable

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

The U.S. Senate has some arcane procedural rules, and as ordinary Americans our eyes glaze over trying to decipher them. But it’s important for us to understand that Sen. Ted Cruz’s efforts to defund Obamacare are worthwhile and doable.

We shouldn’t preemptively surrender the fight to those who rammed through this outrageously burdensome and unaffordable ploy for government control of health care even though some are trying to convince us that the fight is futile. Just because a fight isn’t easy, doesn’t mean it’s not worth fighting.

This defund movement boils down to a very simple request. As Andrew McCarthy recently pointed out: “Obama himself has already unilaterally and unconstitutionally defunded aspects of Obamacare, including repugnant accommodations for big corporations, Obama insiders, and members of Congress.” All we’re asking is that the rest of America “get the same relief from this awful law that Obama cronies, the ruling class, and the politically-connected get.”

Please call your senators and politely ask them to stand with Senator Cruz. This is especially important if your senator is a Democrat up for re-election in a red state in 2014. That would be Senators Mark Begich (D-AK), Mark Pryor (D-AR), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), and Kay Hagan (D-NC). Remind them politely that we are watching their votes very carefully and even a procedural vote that shuts down this debate will be regarded as a vote for Obamacare, and there will be consequences for them at the ballot box next year. The same goes for Republicans up for re-election. We definitely expect them to stand shoulder to shoulder with Senator Cruz through thick and thin.

The number for the Capitol Hill Switchboard is 202-224-3121. Ask for your senator’s office. You can also find their contact information and contact them online at
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

Remember, we elected these senators precisely for moments like this. If they can’t do anything with the power we’ve given them through their elected office, then perhaps it’s time for them to retire and let someone else have a go.

Opposition to Obamacare carried us to victory in 2010. And 2014 is just around the corner.

Sarah Palin: My best wishes to the Jewish community today

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

My best wishes to the Jewish community today as Yom Kippur is celebrated. This is the most solemn and important of the Jewish holy days wherein we’re reminded of humanity’s timeless struggle for peace and justice in a world in need of redemption. May we never cease striving for these ideals, may we never lose hope in the ultimate goodness of God, and may we always seek His unearned mercy and grace. It is amazing that He miraculously and freely gives to those who ask and accept.

I received such a meaningful gift yesterday from friends in New York. This photo shows the rose they sent me; it’s handcrafted out of the remains of rockets fired at Sderot and other Israeli communities from Gaza. The sculpture represents people who grow roses from rockets, “creating beauty from ashes,” representing an Israel that has endured so much. May the people of Israel know who their friends are, and may they know peace.

Sarah Palin: Union brothers and sisters, demand a full repeal of Obamacare

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Union brothers and sisters, demand a full repeal of Obamacare, an immediate defunding, and some resignations.

Sarah Palin: Remember when President Obama promised us....

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Remember when President Obama promised us, “If you like your current health care plan, you can keep your plan?” That was not true, and his deceptive claim falls in line with all the other lies about Obamacare – like there’d be no health care rationing.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense can understand that if it is cheaper for a company to cancel employees’ health benefits and pay the $2,000 Obamacare fine instead of providing, say, a $10,000 government mandated employee health care plan, then of course that company will choose to pay the much smaller fine.

And if companies don’t have to provide government mandated health care for part time employees, then of course that’s an incentive for them to cut back employees’ hours and make their workforce part time.

This isn’t rocket science. This is Economics 101. And it’s happening right now at companies all over the country.

We saw this coming, and now even President Obama’s union leader friends have finally 'fessed up to Obamacare lies. These union leaders betrayed their own membership by enthusiastically endorsing Obamacare, and now our good union brothers and sisters are at risk of losing the benefits they’ve worked for and counted on their whole lives. Union bosses, you owe your membership an apology, retraction, and resignation.

Union leaders are now scrambling and trying to get special carve-outs exclusively for union members. I sympathize with union members – especially when they’re led by thugs. I always do. But this is the wrong way to go about fixing the enormous train wreck that is Obamacare. More cronyism, select exemptions, and special subsidies make the problem worse.

We need to repeal the whole darn thing, and that starts with defunding it.

Union brothers and sisters, don’t let your incompetent leadership hoodwink you again. Demand a full repeal, an immediate defunding, and some resignations.

Sarah Palin: Just Sayin

Sarah Palin: Enough of this foreign fiasco distraction. Get back to work. It is time to bomb Obamacare.
