Sarah Palin - "Void Of Leadership" on Ebola Greta Show 10/27/14

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

I enjoyed talking On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, and you can catch the replay of it later tonight. In discussing the response to Ebola, I made the point that every crisis will be capitalized on by a liberal federal government as an excuse to expand government authority. The Obama administration made clear early on that they abide by the Alinsky tactic to “never let a crisis go to waste.” The latest crisis has been drummed up by their incompetent reaction to the spread of Ebola. The purpose of any crisis for them is to ultimately exert more control over people as more Americans become fearful; the "solution" they'll offer will be another false big government promise: "Hey, little people, just give up more freedom in exchange for our promise of a little security!" Obviously with this Washington liberal M.O. we are losing both.
We do need to keep each level of government accountable. I agree with state governors who are filling this Obama leadership void and setting rules to tackle Ebola because the leader of the country cannot do it, and the 10th Amendment protects states rights in a case like this. But beware of allowing any level of government (especially the federal government) even an inch more power over the people. Liberals can turn that inch into the LAST mile toward statism. That's why politics must be excised from the Ebola issue, and the medical and scientific community must be listened to by the Obama Administration. They MUST put Americans first, and we must not buy into any hysteria as we calmly yet aggressively keep the Ebola virus out of our country.

Sarah Palin: Pat Roberts for Senate

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

We enjoyed a gorgeous sunrise in the Sunflower state while driving to Independence, Kansas, early this morning – one year to the day that Kansas Senator Pat Roberts took a stand that changed our national debate. Remember through that night, Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee took their historic stand for all of us in their effort to fulfill campaign promises and defund Obamacare. Very few Senators stood with them, but Pat Roberts knew it was the right thing to do; so, this tried, tested, and true Kansas conservative charged the hill and also stood strong in service to his home state and all Americans!

It’s been a tough primary season, and now it’s time for Republicans, independents, and blue dog democrats to unite! Those who are concerned about the Obama/Reid failed liberal agenda that is “fundamentally transforming” the nation we love must rally around the primary victor and remember that the goal is to beat back the radical left’s agenda. Kansas, the choice is clear: Pat Roberts or Harry Reid? Voters today in Independence know enough about independents to know that the opponent in this race, Greg Orman, is not one. He’s donated thousands of dollars to Barack Obama and Harry Reid! He wanted them to do what they’ve done! He actually SUPPORTS the mother-of-all disastrous mandates, Obamacare; the guy actually SUPPORTS amnesty for illegal immigrants; he's pro-abortion... the list goes on. No one with the liberal record of support for the most radical of Harry Reid's agenda passes the straight-face test when claiming he’s just “independent.” Good try, Greg, but these sharp, hardworking, salt-of-the-earth patriots see right through the liberals’ game in coaxing the "I" after your name. The good people I met this morning say, “Of course, he’s a liberal, in sheep's clothing.” One straight-shooting farmer hit it home when explaining, “I think he's just full of bull.”

Senator Pat Roberts has fought hard in many ways. I was amazed at how many constituents he knew by name and their specific concerns about the direction of America and their state’s particular issues. So many thanked him for fighting for them in Washington and before that as a Marine. Once a Marine always a Marine! Kansas, please re-elect this good man. My only complaint is that when I pointed to his ranking as “The Third Most Conservative Senator,” he grinned in his own humble way and told me he’d seen a ranking that put him fourth. Comparing his consistent conservative record with anyone else's, I insisted my research was right; so, my complaint is that this was the first argument I've ever had with a U.S. Senator while, literally, approaching the microphone together.

Kansas, please send this marine back to the hill! Thank you, Independence, for hosting such a fun and productive and inspiring day! In your beautiful museum with scrumptious Chris Cakes to serve his constituents, Senator Roberts and I agreed, it was a perfect pancake feed!

Sarah Palin: Tom Emmer For Congress (MN-6)

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Tom Emmer (MN-6)
Career politicians in D.C. better start investing in “fight straps” before Tom Emmer gets there. This former hockey player, coach, and current hockey dad won’t have any patience for their “gross misconduct.” Tom is a proven conservative whose private sector and family experience have instilled the principles of hard work, free markets, and less government regulation. A fourth-generation Minnesotan, Tom runs the lumber business his great grandfather founded. As a husband and a father of seven Tom knows a thing or two about leadership! He’s pro-life, a supporter of our Second Amendment rights, and won’t be a “duster” in Congress. So, Minnesota, let’s work together to send Tom Emmer to Washington and put the career politicians in the penalty box!

Sarah Palin: Clint Didier For U.S. Congress (WA-4)

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Clint Didier For U.S. Congress (WA-4)

Clint Didier has lived an amazing life, and he has never forgotten where he came from or stopped helping others along the way. Born on a farm in Washington state, Clint got his hands dirty and learned the value of hard work early in life. After completing his education, Clint played in the NFL and in three Super Bowls, helping to win two of them. When he retired, he returned to what he knew best by bringing his family back to Washington state and returning to farming. Clint didn’t give up on football either; he’s coached his former high school team and led them to two State Championships. Now, Clint sees the dangers facing our next generation and is stepping up once again to serve our nation. In Congress, Clint will fight for farmers, for lower taxes, and less government. He understands hard work and the concerns of everyday Americans because he’s one of us. We need more citizens like Clint Didier in Congress. Let’s work together to send this champ to Congress!

Sarah Palin: War is hell. So go big or go home, Mr. President.

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

War is hell. So go big or go home, Mr. President. Big means bold, confident, wise assurance from a trustworthy Commander-in-Chief that it shall all be worth it. Charge in, strike hard, get out. Win.

Obama famously claims to despise the “theater” and “optics” of the presidency. In tonight's speech he illustrated the “optics” of toughness. He tried to show a war-weary America that he’s tough in his speech concerning the threat of ISIS/ISIL. “The One” who believes in leading from behind can’t have it both ways. He sure wasn’t concerned about “optics” when he let the crisis starring this Islamic death cult reach this point as he dithered and danced and golfed the time away while the Middle East exploded into chaos.

Tonight he announced he’s flipped and will finally militarily engage inside Syria – the red line he’d set and then forgotten about surfaced again. This, after three and a half years of civil war, 200,000 people killed, and millions displaced amid horrifying humanitarian conditions. Last month, he authorized U.S. military action to stall ISIS’ momentum as it’s taken nearly complete control of Iraq. Tonight, President Obama pledged to fight Islamic militants “wherever they exist” with a very small coalition of the willing. (Can you blame foreign nations for not trusting the resolve of this president enough to join us? Right now he has a coalition of nine; President Bush had over 40 allied countries that could trust America’s leadership.)

Remember the inexperienced presidential candidate speaking from Germany at the Brandenburg Gate (2008)? Or the know-it-all state senator (2002), known for merely voting “present” on the big things, yet lecturing about this “dumb war” he claimed was a distraction from his desire to force income redistribution to create security. Remember him? Today, he seems more worried about contradicting his campaign promises (2002-2008) and typical political poll angst than leading as president (2009-present). These are the “optics” he's worried about.

The rise of the animalistic terror group, ISIS, is the result of Obama’s lead-from-behind foreign policy. He had broadcast his war strategy for all the enemy to see in Iraq, so the enemy could wait us out and strike as soon as America turned tail and turned away from all we’d sacrificed there. Terrorists who we had under control got to regroup and grow after Obama’s premature pull out. Those are the facts, and some tough talking speech is still just talk. Ronald Reagan was described by the Soviets as a politician for whom “words and deeds are one and the same.” When Reagan said his vision of the Cold War was “we win, they lose,” he meant it, and his policies won the Cold War. The real question Americans and our allies must ask is whether Obama-the-lecturer's words will translate into deeds.

Go big and be real, Mr. President, if you've really changed your mind again and now wish to engage. You must acknowledge reality: the organization calling itself the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant is, in fact, “Islamic.” Not many of us pretend to be experts on the Muslim religion, but these terrorists obviously consider themselves Muslim and they believe what they’re horrifically doing to innocents is part of their “religion of peace.” So, you can use your soapbox to fiercely encourage the sane, civilized Muslims of the world to tell ISIS and all these sickening terrorists that they’re wrong. In the meantime, we must identify and understand the enemy by at least acknowledging their ideological motivation and identity. Our president is naive to ignore this.

ISIS must be stopped in Iraq and Syria before we need to stop them anywhere else. As they dominate the region they head for us; we're next on the hit list. For the sake of peace-loving people in America and throughout the world, let’s hope Barack Obama means what he says when he uses terms like “defeating ISIS.” He is so inconsistent in leading a failed agenda that it’s virtually impossible to put any hope in his new promises, because either his past statements shrugging off ISIS as just a “JV squad” was all talk or tonight’s new terminology is just all talk.

We should honor and understand our brave men and women of the U.S. armed forces today more than ever. Please do not support politicians who join Obama in diminishing our military. Our finest, trained to fight for what is right and determined to win, deserve our support. Thank you, military, may you be heard when you pray America’s leadership understands that if we’re in it, then we're in it to win it; no half measures. Troops, we are always with you.

Sarah Palin: Zach Dasher for Congress

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page

A few months ago, I had the chance to hear Zach Dasher speak right before his uncle (the Duck Commander himself, Phil Robertson) addressed the audience at the Republican Leadership Conference in Louisiana. After, I told Zach that we need more young, passionate warriors like him in Washington. Zach Dasher is just the type of next generation conservative we need in Congress, and I’m glad he and his family have accepted the call and the challenge to enter the political fray. Zach is a small businessman, a husband to Jill, a dad to four beautiful kids, and a leader within his church. He’s pro-life, a staunch supporter of our Second Amendment rights, and will fight for a smaller federal government.

While some would expect Zach to ride the wave of our friends and his famous Duck Commanding family, he's chosen a different path. You need to look no further than his first campaign ad for the positive, hopeful, and conservative message that more in our party need to embrace. As Zach says, “let’s wake up our nation and get back to work.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqfZIrr8l5Y

Zach Dasher understands what our Founders meant by the “blessings of liberty” and will be a happy, happy, happy warrior in Washington to restore them! We need more young conservative citizens like Zach to take a stand and fight for our country’s future. His candidacy inspires me and I am proud to support him!

Sarah Palin: Can You Imagine VP Not Knowing Africa Is A Continent

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Can you imagine a Vice President not knowing that Africa is a continent, not a nation? Think of how embarrassing this could be for our country if this Vice President actually referred to Africa as a "nation" while speaking to the very leaders of the sovereign nations that make up the diverse African continent. Imagine how truly embarrassing this would be if it actually happened and was caught on tape... instead of just being a lie based on false anonymous "leaks" from losing and disgruntled campaign consultants. Man, I bet if this ever REALLY happened in real life the media would be all over the story, right? Well, watch this video to see which one of us actually thinks Africa is a nation (hint: it's not me!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U7S3Aq51II

Sarah Palin: Doug Ducey for Governor Arizona

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Doug Ducey is the private sector job creator and proven conservative leader that Arizona needs as its next governor. A self-made man, Doug came to Arizona for college, working at the local beer distributor to pay his way through. After graduation, Doug applied his skills and work ethic to the business world. Through his efforts as CEO, Doug grew Cold Stone Creamery from a small local Tempe ice cream parlor with four stores into a major international chain with 1,400 franchises in 31 countries. Still headquartered in Arizona, this international business provides jobs and revenue for the state. Since being elected State Treasurer, Doug has fought to close financial loopholes, fix the state’s books, and stop a $1 billion annual tax increase.

Doug recently shared his vision with me, which he will carry with him each day as Arizona’s governor: “I’m a believer in private enterprise, the dignity of work, limited government and the possibilities of freedom. I am a forthright defender of the right to bear arms – which is guaranteed not only by the US Constitution, but by the Constitution of Arizona. I am a believer in the rights of the unborn and the goodness of every life, and I have promised that as governor I will champion those values.” Right on!

Cold Stone Creamery was always a favorite stop for my family when traveling during the ’08 campaign. Their creative combinations always hit the spot, and I believe Doug has the right combination to serve Arizona with his proven private sector skills and his record of conservative leadership. That’s why I’m proud to join Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and many other conservatives in endorsing Doug Ducey for Arizona governor.

Sarah Palin: Rush Is Right

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Rush is right. The GOP wants to take impeachment off the table? When will you learn liberals won't hate you less if you play nice in these tumultuous times? No matter how polite, complacent, and complicit you are, Obama will continue to harm our Republic and make you impotent. Even today, his very un-presidential speech mocked you for always being a' "hatin'." Your apathy is their power.

We must count on you, GOP. In the political arena you're our last best hope at present. After soothing Obama by reassuring him that he'll never be held accountable via the ultimate serious check on his lawlessness, you'll now ease on down WHAT road to stop the madness? What's the plan to stop his fundamental transformation of America? Please don't tell us you're armed with a phone and a pen and now a bunch of lawyers filing suit. You can't bring those to the front lines and win.

And please don't underestimate the wisdom of the people. We see Team Obama's obvious strategy in pushing you back in a corner as you lay down the ultimate weapon of force our Founders provided you in our Constitution. Congress, you've already disarmed yourself of the other weapon the Constitution gives you by refusing to use the power of the purse to defund Obama’s lawlessness. Now you’re completely unilaterally disarming by taking any notion of impeachment off the table while Obama gleefully pushes forward with amnesty by fiat. He's called your bluff, GOP! But it's not too late.

Stand tall and don’t be afraid to educate the public about the Constitution’s remedy for a lawless imperial presidency. If you educate Americans about what impeachable offenses really are, they will listen. And trust me, if Obama moves on amnesty, Americans will look to you for action. If you stand up for the Constitution, you won't let them down. Please be stronger, wiser, and more courageous for us. We'll have your back. Reciprocate.

Sarah Palin: My Challenge to the Washington Post

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

My Challenge to the Washington Post
To reclaim your credibility (and the mainstream media’s, at large), I challenge you to engage in the same aggressive investigative journalism you courageously employed 42 years ago covering President Nixon. The public knows of our current president’s incompetence, denials, and cover-ups, but would be well served if we could count on your resources to dig deep for truth in all matters pertaining to Team Obama.
One example: your reporters kept tracking an obscure break-in story and that led to revealing a grave problem in the White House. The Washington Post’s reputation soared as the model of good journalism. Today, you’ve fallen like a lead balloon. Whereas you once doggedly covered the 18.5 minute gap in Nixon’s White House communications, you’ve virtually ignored the Obama Administration’s 1.2 million minutes of deleted communications by just one of the agencies under Obama’s executive branch. I’m speaking of the Lois Lerner IRS harassment-of-conservatives scandal wherein Lerner “lost” pertinent email communications. You’ve allowed Obama to skate with his proclamation that absolutely no wrongdoing occurred at the IRS, “not even a smidgen.”
The list of Obama abuses and impeachable offenses is long. I challenge you to lift a finger and help protect democracy, allow justice for all, and ensure domestic tranquility by doing your job reporting current corrupt events fairly. If not, you prove yourselves incompetent and in bed with Obama, not caring one iota about media integrity.
Those running the Washington Post’s show now, compared to those during the Nixon era, are too afraid of being uninvited to the permanent political class’ cocktail parties and petty gossip fests, making you all a bunch of wusses. I challenge you to get to work.

Sarah Palin: More Opened Eyes to the I-word

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

More Opened Eyes to the I-word

A new CNN poll reveals that one in three Americans agree with my call for President Obama’s impeachment. That’s a huge number – especially considering how misconstrued the issue is when relying on media to explain impeachment. Let’s go around the media filters and acknowledge this ourselves: many Americans haven’t heard what impeachable offenses really are; but when they do, more citizens will rise up to hold their government accountable.

On the heels of this new poll, The Hill reports that the Obama White House is now taking talk of impeachment very seriously. They can’t poo-poo this as liberal followers want them to because they know they’ve done wrong.

The article states, “Dan Pfeiffer, a senior advisor to Obama, said Friday that the White House is taking the prospect of impeachment in the GOP-controlled House more seriously than many others in Washington, who see it as unlikely.” Pfeiffer then noted that a large block of the conservative base favors impeachment.

They also note that Team Obama is aware that the illegal immigration crisis is the tipping point. With the president continuing to halt deportations and with his intention to skirt law once again to grant some sort of amnesty by executive fiat, more Americans will join me in calling for impeachment. I’m talking about average, everyday law-abiding citizens who know we must hold our government accountable; I’m not talking about the political elite on both sides of the aisle who only give lip service to the problem of a lawlessp. They mock the idea of actually remedying this extremely dangerous situation because they’re fine with Washington D.C.’s status quo.

Thank you, good Americans who care about defending our constitution and preserving American exceptionalism! It’s so good to know we finally got Washington’s attention. It took the illegal immigration crisis to tip this because Americans know it’s a direct attack on our sovereignty, on American workers of all races and backgrounds (both native-born and legal immigrants who came here orderly, safely; the right, legal way), on our solvency and security. It IS a direct attack, orchestrated by a president who promised to fundamentally transform our nation.

The American worker is the forgotten man in this crisis of Obama’s making. None other than Cesar Chavez affirmed that illegal immigration hurts hardworking Americans as it drives down the wages of our workers seeking good jobs to support their families.

That’s why we see so many Americans of all racial and ethnic backgrounds uniting to protest this border insanity. We are protesting a lawless administration that doesn't respect the will and wisdom of the people. We can affirm the productivity of legal immigration, but we know why we have laws on the books that keep government in check with this issue and all other issues; we know that part of what makes America exceptional is the rule of law. Without rule of law at our borders, in no time we will become as corrupt and dysfunctional as the nation’s immigrants flee to come here. We also know that “no borders equals no nation.”

The president has a constitutional duty to secure our homeland. That means securing our borders. He’s willfully derelict in his duty. This is illegal.

The Washington Post published a bombshell report this week about top officials at the White House and the State Department having been repeatedly warned of the crisis brewing with illegal immigrant children coming through our unsecured borders in massive numbers from Central America. Essentially the illegals are enticed here by Obama sending a message that he promises they may do so. Illegal children and adults from all over the globe are coming in droves to collect what he's illegally promised. His incentives are invitations to not support legal immigration but instead, invasion.

Despite dire warnings, the White House didn’t want to deal with the issue. They were focused instead on Obama’s 2012 reelection and the push for amnesty along with that promised “transformation,” and this burgeoning crisis didn’t look good for the president politically. So Obama willfully ignored it, and our laws, and in fact Team Obama actively stoked this when Obama issued his own version of the DREAM Act. I call him the Dream Weaver because Obama waved his glittery magic wand and took actions that obviously led the illegal immigrants to believe they would be granted amnesty. And that is why they're coming. He caused a trickle of illegals to “necessarily skyrocket.”

In light of this Washington Post report, there are two questions Congress needs to demand answers to: What did the president know and when did he know it?

Recall that those questions were asked of another president who was also the subject of a Washington Post exposé.

So, speaking of the “I word” – IMPEACHMENT – a supporter on Facebook recently asked me: “Do you have any clue why he isn't impeached already?”

Yes, I do actually. Let’s go back to that poll I cited showing 33% of Americans agree with me on impeachment. It’s clear from the way these polls are conducted that most Americans aren't aware of what constitutes impeachable offenses.

The Constitution says “high crimes and misdemeanors” are the basis for this serious remedy. The Framers used that term to mean a dereliction of duty, and the first duty of the president is to enforce our laws and preserve, protect, and defend our Constitution.
Alexander Hamilton described impeachable offenses as “the abuse or violation of some public trust.” He called them “political” offenses because they “relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to the society itself.”

No serious person who is paying attention can deny that Obama and his administration have abused and violated the public trust and the Constitution.

The White House is counting on the fact that Americans think impeachment is for committing a crime under the penal code. But I’ll keep repeating the truth in order to educate as many Americans as possible.

So, again, let’s be crystal clear on this. Impeachment isn’t necessarily for ordinary criminal acts, nor is it for bad political decisions or differences in opinion. We’re not saying, “Impeach him because his stimulus failed; he coddles Wall Street while dissing Main Street; he recklessly spends our tax dollars on skewed priorities, etc., etc.”

We’re saying he must be impeached for overstepping his Constitutional authority. Here are some examples: he broke the law in changing the Obamacare law by fiat, and he issued amnesty for illegal immigrants by fiat, and he committed fraud on the American people by lying that we could keep our health care if we like our health care, and he refused to secure our borders or halt this border crisis he caused. The list of abuse is long. Allowing any president to continue this lawlessness sets a precedent for future presidents that can allow destruction of our nation.

We’re acknowledging that there’s only one recourse in holding government accountable when led by a president who breaks the law. Remember the Constitution holds the president directly responsible for the executive branch. He can’t just vote “present” and keep feigning ignorance of all the scandals rocking his administration, any more than a mob boss can claim innocence because he didn’t personally do the hit. The buck stops with the guy at the top.

From Benghazi to the IRS and VA scandals, to the NSA spying on innocent Americans, to his Department of Justice wiretapping reporters and giving guns to Mexican drug cartels in Fast & Furious, to ignoring in-house illegal fundraising, I could go on and on.

Impeachment is the Constitution’s answer for a derelict, incompetent presidency, as well as for a lawless imperial presidency. Both describe the unprecedented problem we have with Obama.

In terms of lawlessness, the president is radically changing the way the executive branch does business. He has put us on a dangerous path that will fundamentally change us. With his “pen and phone,” he’s abrogating Congressional authority in violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers. He’s making himself a ruler, not a president. As I said last week, we had a revolution back in 1776 because we don’t do kings.

Making the case for impeachment is not difficult. What’s difficult is having the moral courage and political will to do what is right.

I will keep hammering this issue because it is clearly the only way to stop this president from further abusing his powers. Our founders prepared a future citizenry for such a thing. They crafted the tool for Congress’ authority and obligation to stop this. We’re putting the president on notice.

One out of three Americans are talking about impeachment, Mr. President, because we love this country and respect the sacrifices made to build it. That number will increase as more eyes open to the truth.

Sarah Palin Endorses Joe Carr for Senate in Tennessee

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Thank you, Lamar Alexander, for the respect and integrity you’ve shown in your many years of public service in Washington. With the new challenges in D.C., the time has come for new leaders who are willing to stand up to the political establishments and the Obama administration and say, “no mas!” Unfortunately, advocating and voting for amnesty, cash for clunkers, bailouts, raising the debt ceiling, and many controversial Obama administration nominees has marred the incumbent’s record. It’s time for a change.

Joe Carr is the new voice Tennessee needs in the U.S. Senate! Joe is a citizen legislator who brings his small business experience to bear in the Tennessee General Assembly. He’s stood up to those in his own party, fighting to enact some of the toughest illegal immigration legislation in the country and working to make Tennessee the 4th most business friendly state in the nation. Joe knows that government is most often the problem, not the solution, and he will work to reduce the size of our federal bureaucracy and always use the Constitution as his guide.

It’s a disappointment that after so many years in office Senator Alexander has refused to debate Joe Carr in this campaign. Really, it’s pretty unbelievable because the good people of Tennessee deserve to hear from both these candidates to know who will be on their side and who will choose the Washington status quo.

The conservative grassroots patriots in Tennessee have clearly spoken. When I visited there earlier this month, I was impressed by all the energy and momentum behind Joe Carr. Please join me in supporting him as the Volunteer State’s next Senator!

Sarah Palin: Congratulations, conservative contenders

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Congratulations, conservative contenders, who can now move forward to the general election, one step closer to putting America on the right track! House candidate Barry Loudermilk won the Georgia primary run-off tonight. He’ll be an excellent voice representing the Peach State's 11th Congressional district. Congratulations also to Senate candidate David Perdue on his win today, and we’ll all work together to hold this important Senate seat for the GOP. Dr. Bob Johnson is a great candidate, the speed bump he faced in his race for Georgia’s 1st Congressional seat can't be seen as a roadblock in his drive to serve our country; the good doctor can use his race as a stepping stone for the next time he offers himself up in the name of good public service. He ran for the right reasons, and the country needs him to try it again! Now it’s time to unite behind our nominees and work together in the race to November, for it is a race at the crossroad of our future. Thank you, candidates, campaign staff, and especially you great volunteers! Keep the faith.

Sarah Palin: Again, What Did the President Know And When Did He Know It

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Georgia Primary Runoff July 22

The Georgia primary runoff election is here.  Candidates in the races in which no one received over 50% of the vote will now face off against each other to see who gets to be the republican nominee in November.  The Senate race features Jack Kingston and David Perdue.  I urge all Georgia conservatives to get out and vote for Kingston.  In addition, two prominent U.S. House races are district one with  candidate Bob Johnson and district 11 with candidate Barry Loudermilk.  Both of these guys have been endorsed by Sarah Palin and I urge you to give them your support.  Please see some election links below for more information.

Sarah Palin Endorses Johnson and Loudermilk in GA Primary Runoff

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Just back from a beautiful weekend in Alaska's Bristol Bay – nothing like some clean fresh air to reinvigorate us for the fight ahead this fall. Today, we’re announcing support for two solid constitutional conservatives from the great state of Georgia. Having many friends in Georgia, we know like us your summers are filled with fishing, family, and fresh air without much room for politics. However, with so much at risk in this year’s elections, please take time to check out these great conservatives and encourage your family, friends, camping buddies, neighbors, etc. to get out and vote for them next Tuesday, July 22nd.

DR. BOB JOHNSON FOR U.S. CONGRESS (GA-1)

Dr. Bob Johnson is one doctor we need in the House! Americans are tired of career politicians who make empty promises during campaigns, only to get to Washington to advance their own careers. Dr. Bob is in this campaign with a servant’s heart. As a 26-year Army veteran, a Christian medical missionary, and a surgeon, his life’s work has centered on serving country and neighbors. We need more like him in office. Dr. Bob is a conservative who will work to repeal Obamacare and balance the budget, and he has signed the pledge to self-limit the time he’ll spend in Washington. His campaign is propelled by the good Georgia grassroots. Let’s send Dr. Bob to the House on July 22nd!

BARRY LOUDERMILK FOR U.S. CONGRESS (GA-11)

Barry Loudermilk has a proven record of conservatism in the Georgia General Assembly, one that I hope he can bring to the weak-kneed in the halls of Congress. Barry is an Air Force veteran, small business owner, father, grandfather, and husband who met his beautiful wife in the great state of Alaska many summers ago. Barry will take his strong work ethic, life experiences, and conservative principles to Washington where he will join the fight to restore our great nation and use the Constitution as his guide. Please join me in supporting Barry Loudermilk for U.S. Congress on July 22nd.

Sarah Palin: More Pie Eaters Than Pie Makers = Eventually Everyone Begs For Crumbs

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

More Pie Eaters Than Pie Makers = Eventually Everyone Begs For Crumbs
I love my commonsense conservative blue collar friends in Alaska! One sent this about the record percentage of Americans now on welfare:
As Reagan famously said, the best social program is a job. Liberal policies make job creation scarce. Liberal policies lead to bankrupt cities like Detroit. Liberal policies lead to government dependency. Liberal policies destroy freedom and ruin lives. There is only one way to avoid liberal policies: Don’t vote for liberals. Remember that this November.
And speaking of destructive liberal policies… As the humanitarian crisis continues along our southern border, our liberal President was in Texas fundraising and shooting pool in a bar yesterday instead of doing his job to plug the holes in our border. Just like the press conference he's giving right now, he’s mastering the twists while just talking about the problems, laying blame and passing the buck. Enough is enough. Congress needs to defend itself as he lays blame on them for the open border crisis that he created.
The point is he's DISTRACTING again, telling us, "It's all about the children," and Congress is now the bad guy for not funding his requested billions to support and invite more illegal aliens. America, don't take your eye off the ball. The funding issue he's talking about is NOT the problem. Don't get sucked into his pivots.

Sarah Palin: We’re in the Pacific northwest this week at a Sheeran family reunion

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

We’re in the Pacific northwest this week at a Sheeran family reunion. My cousins Trish and Jason Morgan are both proud Air Force vets, and we’re so proud of them along with our family members in all the other branches of service! The Morgans were singing the praises today of their former supervisor, Col. Rob Maness, who is currently running for the U.S. Senate in Louisiana.
I’m very proud to have endorsed Col. Maness, who is busy this week rolling out positive ideas and solutions to get America back on the right track. Leave it to a military man, not a politician, to break the code to victory. Col. Maness released a 12-point contract with voters that they can hold him accountable for once in office. Rob’s driving his F-150 across Louisiana on a 50 Town Hall tour he’s calling "Solutions For Us” to discuss these ideas to restore our country. If you’re in Louisiana but can't make it to one of his town halls, Tweet him a question to @RobManess and use the hashtag ‪#‎solutionsforus‬. Keep trucking, Colonel! GOP, we need more fresh candidates like him!
Here’s Col. Maness' Contract with Louisiana: http://robmaness.com

Sarah Palin: You can see right through it to his Imperial Presidency

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page

One cannot dispute President Obama's claim of having "the most transparent administration in America's history." So true. It's so transparent you can see right through it to his Imperial Presidency that will destroy the nation from within. Unless voters tip the balance of power back to the people very soon, the left's disregard for Constitutional restraints and our rule of law will fundamentally transform America into a nation unrecognizable to the men and women who paid the price to see America rise as the world's shining city on a hill – shining because we've reflected the beauty of freedom. We now get the government we asked for in 2008, and then four years later asked for more. As in the days of old, as history records in the book of Samuel in the Old Testament, in shortsightedness the people wanted someone to take care of them, to "do it for them," so they cried out for a king. Though it wasn't in their nation's divine destiny, nonetheless they were given a king. Tragically, the people realized too late that their demand for a king was not in the people's best interest. History is the best teacher. As America dethrones independence, self-responsibility, work ethic, and – most significantly – God, we'll realize that elevating fallible men to provide for us and control us will be our downfall. Of course, it's not too late to halt this transformation and begin the restoration of all that is right about America. It's in our hands. With humble acknowledgment of the mistake we've made in demanding the proverbial king to take control, we can move forward with the imperative task of replacing an Imperial Presidency with a government of, by, and for the people again. Once we restore the proud and free ideals that made America exceptional, soon our allies will respect us as reliable again, and enemies will not trample us as they fear what happens when you mess with the United States Military. The people will be sparked with optimism and a spirit of ingenuity and generosity again; and being ever vigilant we can get back to the peace that only faith, family, and freedom can provide. It's in our hands. It's at the ballot box.

The True Face Of the GOP Establishment

This is from an article at  ConservativeHQ:

"We now know that African-Americans who normally vote Democrat turned out in droves for Thad Cochran in the Mississippi Republican primary runoff election against Tea Party favorite Chris McDaniel because of this flier, and others like it.

This flier and similar messaging was distributed and disseminated by GOP Establishment allies of Thad Cochran in African-American neighborhoods throughout Mississippi as a way to frighten black voters who usually vote Democrat into turning out to vote for Thad — in a Republican primary!

That’s how much these fliers and similar messaging by the Thad Cochran camp frightened African-American voters .  . . about the GOP, about conservatives!

Wow!

The result: black voter turnout boosted Thad’s vote total by 10 percent statewide.

Thad’s margin of victory was just 1.8%.

So Thad Cochran won by repeating the Big Lie Democrats have been telling black voters about Republicans and conservatives.

The Big Lie is that Republicans and Conservatives don’t like people who aren’t white.

Of course, nothing can be farther from the truth.

Conservatives believe what Martin Luther King, Jr. said: that people should “not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

Conservatives believe in equality before the law — that the law should be color-blind. Conservatives think government is out of control and needs to be scaled back down to Constitutional size.

Conservatives believe government should live within its means and that for government to be taxing 40 cents of every dollar earned in America is too much. Conservatives believe the purpose of government is to “secure the blessings of liberty.”

This is what most Americans believe.

But winning was so important to Thad Cochran and the GOP Establishment that they decided the best strategy was to reinforce the Left’s Big Lie about conservatives and even their own Republican Party in the minds of African-American voters.

They decided the best strategy was to reinforce the lie that Republicans and conservatives are racists — except, of course, for Thad Cochran.

So now, when MSNBC commentators call the Tea Party, other conservatives, and even Establishment Republicans “racist,” they can cite as evidence statements made by the Thad Cochran campaign. They can point to fliers, such as the one depicted above.

So even the Thad Cochran campaign says Republicans are “racist.”

He’s basically saying our philosophy of limited Constitutional government is illegitimate — inherently racist (somehow).

How does this help the GOP brand?  How does this strategy help the GOP win the votes of African-Americans in general elections?

How does this help stop the growth of the ever-expanding federal government leviathan?

Yet, this despicable, dishonest, evil strategy was undertaken by leaders of the national Republican Party — including Karl Rove, Haley Barbour, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, John McCain, and all the usual suspects.

They don’t care that this messaging hurts the GOP brand with black voters, Hispanics, and other minorities.
We believe ALL Americans benefit from limiting government power.

When I talk to African-Americans who voted for Obama (and I know many), they believe this too.
They also believe government is too big and out-of-control.

They don’t like it. Unfortunately, they believe that Obama is out there to somehow protect them from “The Man” — when the exact opposite is the truth.

But for the GOP Establishment, it’s win the immediate contest at all costs, no matter what the long-term damage to their party and their country.

These people have no principles. They stand for absolutely nothing except their own unquenchable lust for political power.

They love being insiders. GOP power brokers love the millions of dollars they can earn by knowing how to wire the system to their liking.

A big part of this is being comfortable with an ever-expanding federal government . . . because that makes them and their connections more important and influential."
