Conservatives Must Vote In The Texas Primary March 4

vote banner

It is finally here. The first primary contests of 2014 will take place in Texas on March 4.   We have endured the past year watching the GOP Establishment ignore the conservative base as they cave on issue after issue due to their inability to articulate a conservative alternative to the liberal agenda.  For any Texans who are fed up with this, your time has come.  Now is your chance to make your voices heard.  Moderates cannot be taught a lesson.  They must be voted out of office.  You can do that by voting for conservatives in the primary on March 4.  Sarah Palin has endorsed Katrina Pierson (also endorsed by Ted Cruz) for the district 32 congressional primary and Greg Abbott for governor.  You can find more information at the links below.

Sarah Palin: Texas, it starts with you!

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Texas, it starts with you!

2014 is here. The choices are becoming clearer, and the battle lines are being drawn. The GOP Beltway crowd has convinced itself that the way to maintain or retake the majority is through compromise and capitulation on important issues like amnesty, Obamacare, and the ever-increasing federal debt. They think that by making deals with a deeply unpopular and divisive incumbent president on issues that Americans oppose, they’ll somehow endear themselves to voters.

Enough is enough. The permanent political class in D.C. won’t listen. So, let’s start putting our efforts behind good new candidates who will go to Washington not to line their own pockets, but to help restore our country. It’s time to put inspiration, ingenuity, and integrity over incumbency in the GOP.

Let’s start in Texas. The lines couldn’t be clearer. Katrina Pierson is an emerging leader and important voice for the future of the grassroots conservative movement. Her life’s story is full of hardships she has fought to overcome, which taught her firsthand the importance of self-reliance, hard work, and the blessings of liberty.

A feisty fighter for freedom, Katrina is taking on a powerful incumbent who has so lost touch with the people of his district that he’s not even bothering to spend much time in Texas anymore. It’s not only his district he’s lost touch with, but also the issues important to the voters there. He used his powerful position to oppose the movement to defund Obamacare, has voted to raise the debt ceiling, and has been an advocate for the NSA intrusion into our freedoms. When asked about Katrina’s primary challenge, he said, “these things happen.” Yes, they do. We all know what happens when we come together to support a good candidate like Katrina – the permanent political class loses and We the People win! We win by electing a fighter we can depend on like Katrina Pierson. Ted Cruz calls Katrina “an utterly fearless principled conservative.” He should know. Katrina was among the conservative grassroots warriors in Texas who worked tirelessly to elect Senator Cruz.

Early voting started yesterday, Texas. Get out now and vote for Katrina. Send a message to the GOP elites on behalf of Katrina, just like you did for Ted Cruz in 2012.

And while you are out there voting for Katrina, check the box for another good conservative – Greg Abbott for Governor of Texas. Like Katrina, Greg has overcome many personal obstacles and challenges, which have made him a believer in the power of liberty and the need to defend our freedoms from the overreach of an out-of-control federal government. If he is good enough for Ted Nugent, he is good enough for me!

God bless you and God bless America.

Sarah Palin: Time To Join Other Common Sense Conservatives At CPAC

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

It's time to join other commonsense conservatives from across our great country at CPAC! It's the American Conservative Union's 50th anniversary, and with November just around the corner this is the pivotal time to get energized and inspired to fundamentally restore our nation! In many respects it's "now or never time" to defend our republic or we'll watch it be fundamentally transformed by some with the strangest, seemingly nefarious motives. I'm not going to sit down, shut up, and just watch that happen. You? CPAC introduces candidates and future leaders, and the conference highlights direction to grow a movement of progress that can restore all that is exceptional about America!

Here are the details: http://www.cpac.org/

Here’s a fun video created by our friends at Passcode Creative of some highlights from our visit there last year: http://youtu.be/SjPZl18_pio

Sarah Palin: Happy Birthday Honest Abe

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

God Bless the legacy of our 16th President. He served with honesty and integrity, held our nation together in the worst of times, understood and assured the blessings of liberty for all Americans, and didn’t succumb to the special interests that would destroy our Union for personal gain. With foresight towards developing our natural resources, the man Lincoln appointed as his Secretary of State wisely purchased the territory of Alaska. This President truly understood the heart of the United States. He gave his last full measure of devotion to keep our nation as one and secure the foundation of those truths we still hold self-evident.

To quote his immortal words, it is for us the living to be dedicated to the task remaining before us. The United States deserves leaders that ascribe to the simple principles that guided this great man. From a log cabin in Kentucky to the White House, he espoused the American ideal of truth and honesty. He didn’t shy from controversy, and the fire of freedom burned bright within him and guided him throughout his life.

May all our elected officials take a long look at what made Lincoln a great leader. Our elected officials have from our history the perfect example of selfless leadership.

On this, Abraham Lincoln’s 205th birthday, please take a moment to reflect on what it means to be a God-fearing leader, a great president, and a true American. Ask yourself if our politicians and influential celebrities who shape society live up to Lincoln’s shining example, and if not, hold them accountable instead of rewarding them with continued privilege. It’s our nation, and Lincoln gave his life to assure that it remained the “last best hope on earth.”

Happy Birthday, Honest Abe!
