Sarah Palin Endorses Taylor Griffin for Congress

From the Taylor Griffin for Congress campaign:

“I consider Governor Palin to be the epitome of a principled conservative and her endorsement reinforces my message that I will give Eastern North Carolina the conservative representation we deserve.”

Taylor Griffin – Republican Candidate for Congress

Taylor Griffin’s congressional campaign got a big endorsement today from an old friend. Former Alaska Governor and Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin and her husband Todd Palin endorsed Griffin’s run for the Republican nomination in North Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District. Griffin worked with Gov. Palin and Todd in 2008 during Palin’s Vice Presidential campaign.

“I am incredibly honored to receive the endorsement of Governor Sarah and Todd Palin. I consider Governor Palin to be the epitome of a principled conservative and her endorsement reinforces my message that I will give Eastern North Carolina the conservative representation we deserve.” Griffin said after receiving the news of the endorsement.
Griffin also added the endorsement carries with it a great responsibility.

“When a local veteran or commercial fisherman tell me I have their support, I feel the responsibility to represent them in a manner fitting their trust. I feel the same way about the endorsement of Governor Palin and Todd I can assure them and the people of Eastern North Carolina that my conservative principles will not waiver after I get to Washington.”

Griffin wrote Governor Palin and Todd requesting their support for his candidacy:
“I chose to launch my campaign last year because in my time in politics and government I have watched our country, and at times my own party, veer so far off course from the fundamental constitutional values and free market ideals that made our country great. My time working with you and your family in Alaska was one of the most important experiences of my life. Like Alaskans, Eastern North Carolinians believe that the solution to our nations problems lie in its people rather than in ever expanding edicts from Washington.”

Palin responded yesterday with the following note:
“Taylor – Thank you for your note and for putting your name on the line to help restore our country. Todd and I are happy to honor your request and support your candidacy. In Washington, we need you to stay true to your beliefs of smaller government, protecting life and furthering conservative principles. America needs fighters in Congress – go to DC remembering the good patriots of Eastern North Carolina who put their trust in you to fight for them. You have our support – we have directed SarahPAC to make a financial contribution to your campaign today. Thank you for your patriotism and commitment to our cause! – Sarah Palin”

Sarah Palin: Actions to stop terrorists

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Actions to stop terrorists who’d utterly annihilate America and delight in massacring our innocent children? Darn right I’d do whatever it takes to foil their murderous jihadist plots – including waterboarding. Whatever one thinks of my one-liner at the NRA rally about treating evil terrorists the way they deserve to be treated to prevent the death of innocent people, it’s utterly absurd for MSNBC to suggest that I could put our beloved troops in harm’s way, but we’ve come to expect the absurd from that failing network. If you want to talk about what really harms our troops, let’s talk about politicians who gut our military’s budgets, or a president whose skewed budgetary priorities slash military benefits, or an administration that puts our vets on endless waiting lists for care that comes too late to help those who’ve paid the price for our freedom, or those who break bread with those who think it makes no difference how our military heroes died in Benghazi or anywhere else trying to protect America. Those actions are a heck of a lot more harmful than declaring an appropriate message our enemies should receive. If some overly sensitive wusses took offense, remember the First Amendment doesn’t give you a right not to be offended. Perhaps hypocritical folks who only want Freedom of Speech to apply to those who agree with their liberal agenda might want to consider that the evil terrorists who were the brunt of my one-liner would be the first to strip away ALL our rights if given the chance. That’s why we do whatever we can to prevent them from killing innocent people. And for that, we should NEVER apologize. Good Lord, critics... buck up or stay in the truck. And if you love freedom, thank our troops! Thank our vets! And thank those who have the brains to support them and the guts to defend what they have earned!

Indiana, North Carolina & Ohio Primaries Are May 6

Okay here we go.  We are now beginning the 2014 election primary season.  It is imperative for conservatives to get involved in this process and remove as many RINO's from office as possible.  RINO's are trying as hard as they can to pass amnesty for illegal immigrants this year and are now sounding early signs of surrender on Obamacare.  We need true conservatives in elected office, not candidates who surrender to big government liberalism again and again.  Indiana, North Carolina and Ohio have primaries on May 6.  I urge North Carolina residents to vote Brannon for U.S. Senate.  Those living in Ohio congressional district 8 can vote for J.D. Winteregg who is running against John Boehner.  Since neither Indiana nor Ohio have primary runoffs, conservatives must unite behind the best conservative who has a chance to win.  See the links below for more information.

Sarah Palin: Great Experience In Iowa

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Well that was a great experience in Iowa yesterday with an amazing group of “mama grizzlies” rallying to support U.S. Senate candidate Joni Ernst! Thank you to everyone who joined Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds, Senator Deb Fischer, and Governor Kay Orr at this “Heels On, Gloves Off” Rally. Special thanks to ShePAC for hosting the event and for fighting to Support, Honor, and Elect conservative women like Joni! It's imperative we work together to send this soldier, mom, and America’s favorite Iowa pork farmer to Washington to make the big spenders squeal.

Also, thank you to our guys – Gail Ernst, Bruce Fischer, and Todd Palin – who jumped in with great help to support this worthy conservative candidate. Please join the team that will send Joni to the U.S. Senate to get America back on track.

P.S. Here are some photos of Joni's campaign bus.

Sarah Palin: Thanks To Everyone At Ben Sasse Rally

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Thank you to everyone who joined Kay Orr, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and me this morning in historic North Platte, Nebraska, to rally for Ben Sasse. Ben will be a great advocate for conservative action in the Senate! He’s just the sort of problem solver we need to take on Obamacare and provide a conservative alternative to the challenges facing America!

Special thanks to the gracious people at La Quinta Inn for their hospitality and delicious carrot cake cupcakes and to the Espresso Shoppe in North Platte for their awesome coffee!

PS: In that photo with Governor Orr, I’m holding a ticket from the event Governor Orr hosted for President Reagan in North Platte back in 1987 at the Buffalo Bill Historical State Park!

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Thank you to everyone who joined Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and me in Tulsa to rally for T.W. Shannon for Senate. T.W. has got a great future ahead of him as a new voice for conservative action in D.C. We need this dynamic leader in Washington!

Also, a big thank you to Burn Co. Barbecue in Tulsa for providing the great grub! Their BBQ ribs clobber moose meat. I must admit. Heavenly. Along with T.W. Shannon who's going to show Washington some Oklahoma thunder, Burn Co. is another reason Oklahoma can be so proud!

Sarah Palin: A couple of interesting issues to consider today

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

A couple of interesting issues to consider today:

First, kudos to the Louisiana GOP for filing a federal ethics complaint against Sen. Harry Reid for illegally using our tax dollars to play his “politics of personal destruction” including trying to humiliate and ruin reputations of good Americans for his radically liberal partisan purposes (including his ongoing jihad against private citizens David and Charles Koch, whom Reid hypocritically benefits from by having accepted their campaign donations through Koch-connected PACs). He unethically spends other people’s money (his addiction to O.P.M. is renown) to enrich family and friends. Reid gets away with his continual unethical behavior because no one pushes back. Finally someone is!

Read some tip-of-the-iceberg Reid revelations here:
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/apr/23/gop-reid-using-tax-funds-fight-koch-brothers/

Next, let’s take a stroll down memory lane. Remember back during the ’08 campaign when we warned you about a certain infamous domestic terrorist couple from Chicago in whose living room Barack Obama kicked off his political career? A couple of Obama’s neighbors, the husband a strange fellow who worked on community organizing “things” with Obama and was featured on a magazine cover stomping on our American flag? Remember the campaign trying to censor discussion of this guy, Bill Ayers, and Obama’s other associations? Well, Townhall.com offers a pretty horrifying scenario in which the other half of this couple, Bernardine Dohrn, or someone of her ilk, could be appointed as a Federal Court judge by the outgoing Senate because if Democrat Senators are defeated in their re-election bids this year they’ll have nothing to lose in pushing forward disastrous judicial appointees. The period between November 5, 2014, and January 3, 2015, is ripe for all kinds of shenanigans as the outgoing Democrat Senators (assuming they lose re-election) can behave without political repercussions. Please keep your eyes open for this and be ready to hold politicians accountable.

http://townhall.com/columnists/hankadler/2014/04/21/bernardine-dohrns-nomination-for-the-first-circuit-court-of-appeals-n1826624?

And because I don’t want these discouraging issues to damper your day, here’s a shot to end this post – a little uplifting reminder to actually DO something about challenging issues. This kid says it best.

Sarah Palin: Arizona Should Allow Convention of States Vote

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

There was good news this week for grassroots patriots working to bring about a Convention of the States for the reasons outlined in Mark Levin’s book “The Liberty Amendments” because this is the tool the Constitution gives us to rein in our out-of-control federal government via a process to amend the Constitution to include things like a federal balanced budget amendment, etc. This week the Alaska and Florida state legislatures passed bills in favor of the Convention of States. It’s already passed in Georgia and Alabama; and it’s in the process in Missouri, South Carolina, and Arizona.

But in Arizona there is only one man standing in the way. Even though the Arizona House overwhelmingly passed the measure, there is one lone Republican state senator named Andy Biggs who is blocking the vote. Mr. Biggs is the Arizona State Senate President, and he has used his power to block the bill from coming to a vote. Unless he budges, the session will run out, and the bill will actually die this year after thousands of hours of grassroots work and effort. Make no mistake, if that happens, these grassroots patriots will start over again next year and will continue as long as it takes. But I encourage everyone in Arizona to call this state senator and voice your objections to these Harry Reid-like tactics. Tell him to allow this bill to come to a vote, and from now on, please only elect local leaders who support this effort.

Sarah Palin To Rally For Ben Sasse April 25

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

Looking forward to joining with friends Senator Mike Lee and Governor Kay Orr next week in Nebraska to support conservative U.S. Senate candidate Ben Sasse. I am so glad Ben chose to hold this event in the heart of the heartland -- North Platte, NE -- at Scout's Rest on the property of Buffalo Bill's Ranch. This is the same venue Governor Orr chose to host President Reagan at in 1987. At this historic heartland venue we will rally for Ben on Friday and get the message out that Ben Sasse is the clear conservative choice in Nebraska's U.S. Senate race! This event will kick off the final 19 days of this primary campaign. Let's keep the grassroots momentum going and send Ben to Washington! Hope to see you there. You can find out more details here:

Sarah Palin: PETE RICKETTS FOR GOVERNOR OF NEBRASKA!

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

PETE RICKETTS FOR GOVERNOR OF NEBRASKA! NEVER FEAR SUCCESS!

I was honored to make a special trip to the Cornhusker State today to join fellow former governor Kay Orr in endorsing Pete Ricketts for governor of Nebraska. While Pete’s opponents in this race have made a career for themselves as politicians, bureaucrats, or lobbyists, Pete spent his career in the private sector helping grow his family’s successful business from the bottom up. I believe in teaching kids to never fear success and in fact to look to those who’ve ethically earned their success and emulate their work ethic! This is how we grow business, recover industry, hire Americans, and save our economy, and Pete proves this. The alternative is woeful dependency on an inevitable sinking ship I call “Liberal Lunacy.” Pete and his Nebraska family are an inspiring American success story, and now Pete is dedicated to making sure America’s promise is there for future generations to succeed and prosper.

Like so many other commonsense conservatives, in the last eight years Pete has focused his energy and resources into furthering the conservative cause in Nebraska because he knows that in critical times like this we need fearless patriots willing to lead. At a time when too many candidates are opportunistic and unprincipled, Pete Ricketts stands apart because he is running for the right reasons – to lead his state with a servant’s heart and a firm reliance on the time-tested truths that have made this country great.

One of Pete’s opponents is now recycling old discredited attacks hatched up by the Democrats. Don’t be fooled by the mudslinging coming from a candidate eager to distract voters away from his own dodgy record. Pete’s position is clear: he opposes amnesty and taxpayer funded benefits for illegal immigrants in any form and always has.

Pete has the business acumen, the moral integrity, and the conservative common sense to lead Nebraska into a prosperous future. He will join the other great conservative governors we’ve endorsed who are showing Washington, D.C. how to balance a budget, reform entitlements, save for the future, develop our resources, and grow jobs.

Pete Ricketts is the clear principled commonsense conservative choice in this race, and I hope you’ll join me in lending him your support!

Sarah Palin: My Own Final Four Bracket For America’s Future

From Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

My Own Final Four Bracket For America’s Future

Holy Moly! Are you kidding? You’d think one who is representing the mighty Badgers, who made it to the Final Four based on sacrificial work ethic and discipline that obviously pays off in the end, he who represents the great state of Wisconsin that hosts this underdog celebrated college basketball team, would understand that future success depends on hard work and sacrifices. The latest Ryan (R, Wisconsin) Budget is not an April Fool’s joke. But it really IS a joke because it is STILL not seeing the problem; it STILL is not proposing reining in wasteful government overspending TODAY, instead of speculating years out that some future Congress and White House may possibly, hopefully, eh-who-knows, take responsibility for today’s budgetary selfishness and shortsightedness to do so. THIS is the definition of insanity. Do we still not understand how dangerous it is to allow government to grow unchecked as we shackle ourselves with massive debt – a good portion of which is held by foreign nations who don’t necessarily like us? If we can’t balance the budget today, what on earth makes us think it will happen at some future date? The solution is staring us in the face. We need to rein in spending today, and don’t tell me there is nothing to cut when we know every omnibus bill is loaded with pork and kickbacks.

Reading the article linked below gave me the same reaction that my daughter just caused when she punked me with a very unfunny April Fool’s Day announcement. As my Dad would say after these April Fool’s announcements, “This would kill a lesser man.” This out-of-control debt is killing our economic future.
